3ds Max, Zbrush 3d-modeling is a brand new world for me. I'm self-taught.

I'm confident enough with my sense of space,  and the challenges are mostly just "I don't know this command", or "What the does this button do?" but I'm improving. With 3d-modeling, comes a world of ideals. Everything comes without the hassle of lopsided circles, or disproportionate rectangles. However, this all comes at the price of you setting every single detail up.

Mapping is very important in 3d-modeling. It's what turns a cube into a well used Rubiks cube. Or what turns a sphere into a brand new soccer ball.
